Learning how to ride a bike is one of the first adventures we embark on as kids. And with the K3 Balance Bike from SWAGTRON, learning to ride is easy as walking. Crafted from sturdy aluminum alloy frame, the K3 supports kids up to 55 pounds while maintaining a kid-friendly weight of just under seven pounds. It’s perfect for kids ages 2 to 5, helping them improve their balance, coordination and stamina. All without the hassle of frustrating or wobbly training wheels. Every child remembers when they first learned how to ride a bike. Make those memories count. BALANCE BIKES > TRAINING WHEELS Most of us might have learned to ride a bike using training wheels. And it worked for us, right? Why not for your child? Training wheels are usually reserved for children five years old and older. But balance bikes give kids as young as 2 years old a head start on learning to ride a bike, using the skills your child has already learned — standing and walking. With training wheels, young riders focus too much energy on pedaling and not enough on improving their balance. When the training wheels come off, they’ll still have to contend with gravity and learning how to keep the bike upright. A balance bikes is a better teaching solution for new riders. Unlike tricycles or bicycles with training wheels, toddlers can hop on their K3 and start “riding” around from day one. If you think your child may be too young or too small for a balance bike, start them out on a K6 4-in-1 toddler scooter first. The K3 would then make for a more seamless future transition to a pedal bike. NO-PEDAL PUSH BIKE The recommended age for training wheels is between 4 and 5 years old. But a well-designed balance bike can help toddlers as young as two years old develop the proper dexterity and stamina needed for riding a bike – no training wheels needed! 12” AIR-FILLED TIRES The K3 lets your kids get the true feel of riding a bike. Its air-filled rubber tires hug the pavement better than the solid foam or hard plastic of other brands. The result? A riding experience that’s smooth, fluid and lets your kid get the true feel for riding a bike. HEIGHT-ADJUSTABLE SEAT The seat adjusts to make riding a more comfortable experience. The seat’s height ranges between 12 and 16 inches, which means it will accommodate inseam lengths between 13 and 17 inches. The seat’s padding is supportive and soft enough to prevent chafing.

Solid Choice for a Balance Bike, Despite Assembly Hiccups
I purchased this balance bike for my 3-year-old daughter and overall, I'm happy with the product. The pink color is cute and not too flashy, and the design is modern and sleek. While the screw holding the handlebar in place wasn't perfectly centered, this was only a cosmetic issue and didn't affect the functionality of the bike. The assembly process was a bit frustrating as the instructions included were incorrect, but I was able to figure it out by looking at the picture on the listing. It's also important to note that the tires come completely deflated, so you will need to fill them with air yourself. Once the bike was assembled and the tires were inflated, it worked great and my daughter loves it. I want to be clear that the assembly experience should really earn this bike a 4-star rating. However, I'm willing to overlook the frustration because the assembly was ultimately simple enough and the end product is great. Because Amazon doesn't allow for in-between ratings, I'll be giving this bike a 5-star review. In conclusion, I would recommend this balance bike to any parents looking for a quality product for their child. While the assembly process may be frustrating and the instructions incorrect, the end product is definitely worth it. The bike is well-made, sturdy, and looks like it will last a long time.

Great balance bike
It’s lightweight for when they decide they don’t want to ride which is a plus. Easy to assemble. Overall great balance bike.

Love this bike for my 3 year old!
We did a lot of research before buying a balance bike for our 3.5 year old son, and this one seemed to be the best bang for your buck. Not sure I have a single complaint about it. Works just as well and looks just as nice as a Strider, and in my opinion, the tires on these seem even more durable (was comparing to his friend’s Strider the other day!). My son loves it and it has been easy to adjust for his height. The blue color is really nice looking. He’s ridden it about every day for the past 2 months and it still looks brand new. Would highly recommend for a kid who is too big for a tricycle but not quite ready for a real pedal bike yet. We tried a pedal bike with training wheels first, and he was too scared and couldn’t figure out the pedals…this one has really boosted his confidence and helped him get down the basics of balance. Great value for a product just as good as the high-dollar brands!

Perfect for 2 year old grandson
Very easy assembly. Comes in 4 pieces, and includes required tools (Allen wrench and flat wrench) Adjustable seat is easy to match with growing kiddos! Price was good value, as I wanted air-filled tires, not solid rubber.

good but not as pictured
bike in photo vs what you receive is different. i received a bike with aluminum/mag wheels, not spoked wheels as pictures. the tires are GARBAGE. theyre "hongda" and the first time i pumped the rear tire up to 30 psi it got a big pimple/bulge in it. aka it had some of the cord structure inside fail. i removed the tire, added several layers of gorilla tape to the inside of the tire, problem solved. but the tires are utter trash. other than that, this bike is awesome. super light, low stand over height, hardware is decent for what youre paying, seat adjusts well. my daughter ZOOMS on this thing at 3 years old. moving up to a pedal bike here soon. also, this review is coming from someone that is very mechanically inclined, worked as an auto mechanic, production mechanic in manufacturing, runs mills, lathes, welds anything and everything... this bikes frame, again, for the cost, is superb, welded very well, finished pretty well too. definitely worth the money, put some better tires on it, or rig it up like i did. other than the tires its perfect

As good as anything else I suppose
Swagtron is consistently at the top of the "best balance bike" lists, so I went with this when it was time to get one for my daughter. Although she REFUSES to use it, I still don't have many bad things to say about it. First, it comes MOSTLY assembled. You will need to add the handle bars and seat, but both are pretty straight forward setups, with the handlebars needing a little patience. I WILL say that although the wheels came pre assembled, they put them on in the wrong direction, so maybe they shouldn't have installed them. (There is a direction arrow that the wheel is supposed to follow, and my front wheel is the opposite of the arrow.) The handle bar setup is a little more involved, as you need to line everything up and tighten, but you have to find the sweet spot between tight/loose, as if you tighten too much, the front wheel won't turn, but if you don't tighten enough, the handle bars will move and become un-aligned with the wheel. I've got it at a good spot, but I'm almost positive that if and when my daughter falls over on this thing, I'm going to have to re-align the handlebars every time she does it. There's just no way to tighten the handle bars enough so that they can't move, but still loose enough to allow the wheel to turn. The bike itself feels really sturdy, while still being light, and the wheels on the bike are GREAT! Actual inflatable, rubber wheels, not that foam or plastic crap. It's a very nice bike once you get it setup. I can't wait for my daughter to actually start using the thing! I will say, my daughter is around 32'-34", and she is at the absolute minimum height for the bike. The seat is at the lowest setting for her to safely and comfortably ride.

Great first bike
Great first bike. My son loves it. He’s gotten the hang of it very quickly. Half the price of other children’s bikes. I put it together in 5 min. Definitely recommend.

Ampliamente recomendable
Totalmente recomendable. Ofrece mas de lo que cuesta. Material ligero, muy maniobrable. Manubrio amplio.

PESIMO producto.

Ligera, bonita y buena calidad
Muy liviana para mi niña de 2 años Por mi error la arme al revés y quedó el adueño hacia arriba. Y después cambie la barra y listo. Excelente

Buena bici, llego incompleta
La bicicleta parece funcionar muy bien y está ligera. Lo malo es que llegas sin una tuerca y un espaciador. Hablé con la compañía y no dan servicio en mexico así que tendremos que ir a comprar el espaciador y la tuerca a algún lado....
